Freiburg and Hoffenheim will clash at the Stade Europa-Park this weekend off the back of a narrow defeat to Juventus for the home side in the Europa League as Hoffenheim remain the most out-of-form side in the Bundesliga.
Hoffenheim have failed to win a single game in Germany since the end of the World Cup break, and they now head into this one having lost all their past four games.
Borussia Dortmund, Mainz, Bayer Leverkusen and Augsburg have beaten them in this time and it now puts the club in 16th and in the relegation play-off spot on goals difference with only 19 points from 23 games.
As for Freiburg, they will head into this one after a loss in Turin to Juventus, although there is still everything to play for because of the 1-0 defeat.
The club remain in fifth in the Bundesliga and sit above Eintracht Frankfurt by three points and only behind RB Leipzig by just one point in the race for the Champions League.
