Lazio will be aiming to keep up the pressure on the top four when they return to Serie A action with a trip to the Stadio Ettore Giardiniero where Lecce are merely aiming to move further away from the relegation zone.
Lazio lost their last friendly game to Almeria in a 2-0 defeat, as they also managed to defeat Galatasaray 2-1 and Hatayspor 5-2. It means the club also failed to keep a clean sheet in their friendly games.
Lazio are still in fourth in Serie A and sit behind AC Milan in second by just three points and behind Juventus in third by a point. On the other hand, they sit only above Inter Milan in fifth by goals difference.
The goals difference superiority over most of the league comes as a result of their fantastic defence. Maurizio Sarri has guided his men to 26 goals and only 11 goals conceded in 15 games, although they did lose 3-0 to Juventus last time around.
Lecce are above the relegation zone by a healthy eight points, despite being above the bottom three by just two spots.
