Match preview: Team & Player Performance

After, just, avoiding a huge FA Cup upset at the weekend, West Ham United resume their push for a top four finish.

On Saturday, the Hammers took on sixth-tier Kidderminster Harriers at Aggborough and fell behind with just 20 minutes on the clock.

West Ham then looked set for an embarrassing exit until, in stoppage time, Declan Rice burst forward, cut inside and smashed home an equaliser.

This forced an extra half an hour of play and, with penalties looming, Jarrod Bowen poked home a winner in added time to extra time.

A heartbreaking result for the National League North club but, for West Ham, they're through to round five.

Back in the Premier League, David Moyes' men have lost their last two, 3-2 to Leeds United and 1-0 at Manchester United.

In the latter, it was West Ham who conceded in stoppage time, a home win that saw Man United leapfrog them into the top four.

So, will the Irons claim three points this time?

Watford meanwhile earned a point in their first match under Roy Hodgson on Saturday night, holding relegation rivals Burnley to a goalless draw.

In truth, it was a game of few chances at a very blustery Turf Moor, but it did see Watford earn their first top-flight clean sheet since January 2020.

However, the Hornets have now taken just two points from the last 27 available, since beating Manchester United 4-1 on 20 November.

Thus, they remain in the relegation zone.

Will West Ham be too strong at the London Stadium?
