West Ham United team news and predicted XI vs Arsenal

With points secured in four of their last six Premier League outings, relegation candidates West Ham United are still a capable side and pose a threat to Arsenal’s title ambitions on Sunday when the Gunners travel across the capital

West Ham United Team News

  • Out: Gianluca Scamacca
  • Doubt: N/A

West Ham United remains an enigma on the Premier League landscape in 2022-23. Despite their run in the Europa Conference League this season which has seen them reach the quarterfinals of the competition, David Moyes’ men remain an outlier on the domestic front and are a relegation candidate at the time of writing on the back of sitting just three points clear of the drop zone.

The good news for Moyes and company is the notion that their Sunday clash against Arsenal at London Stadium will present a Hammers side at nearly full strength as they hope to upset Mikel Arteta’s high-flying Gunners. Only summer signing Gianluca Scamacca is out of contention to feature for the capital club, and few changes should be expected across Moyes’ preferred XI, which remains potent if they are in the mood.
