Cahill is considering his future
Chelsea player Gary Cahill is considering his future at the club.
Once a mainstay in the defence, it’s been harder for Cahill to get in the team since the start of the season.
Under Maurizio Sarri, Cahill hasn’t featured, and it could well be the case he leaves.
Another sticking point for Chelsea is the fact Cahill’s current contract is coming to an end, with around 12 months left.
Chelsea don’t want to let their skipper leave on a free, and Cahill wants to be playing matches.
Now, it seems he could be in for a move to Galatasaray.
Ethan Ampadu didn’t play for the development squad on Friday, He trained with the first team squad and traveled with the first team. Gary Cahill hasn’t travelled and Galatasaray have genuine interest in signing him. With less than 12 months on his deal we shall see what happens

Cahill also has one eye on international duty, with the Mail claiming manager Gareth Southgate wants to keep him in contention for selection.
All of that contributes to the idea that Cahill could see his future away from Chelsea.
Chelsea fighting for the title
Chelsea won the FA Cup last season, but still elected to sack Antonio Conte and replace him with Sarri.
I would like to wish Antonio and his family best wishes for the future and thank him for helping me and Chelsea FC be successful during his time at the club. A Premiership Title and F.A. Cup winners medals are great memories we all shared together. Thank you Antonio. I wish you and all your coaches all the very best for the future. #cfc
Under their new manager, the Blues know they need to get into the top four this season at the absolute worst.
However, Chelsea could well be putting together a title challenge and have won their opening two games, with Newcastle to play this weekend.
Sarri will want to play his strongest available team, and while there were questions about the defence against Arsenal, Chelsea still came out with three points.
