An insight into the stance of those in a position of power at Manchester City when it comes to the future of Oleksandr Zinchenko has been provided on Saturday.

And the news will no doubt be met with excitement on the part of the Ukrainian international's suitors.

As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Premier League champions City are 'prepared to let Zinchenko leave' ahead of next season.

This comes with the Sky Blues having set their sights firmly on the signature of Brighton & Hove Albion star Marc Cucurella to reinforce the left of the club's backline.

Nevertheless, though, Pep Guardiola and co. appear ready to let Zinchenko move on, a decision which was made prior to the season coming to a close.

Everton, in turn, are understood to be expressing a particularly keen interest in the 25-year-old's signature, with Zinchenko having been identified as one of Frank Lampard's 'main targets'.

The Toffees may well have to fight off competition from Premier League rivals Arsenal, though, also long tipped as a potential landing spot for Man City's versatile full-back.
