Revealed: The 5 players Tottenham are ready to listen to offers for in the summer

An insight into the summer transfer plans of those in a position of power at Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur has been provided on Thursday.

Specifically, the latest information surrounds those most likely to depart north London, rather than the potential arrival of fresh faces.

As per a report from the reliable Dan Kilpatrick of the Evening Standard, Antonio Conte has identified five members of his squad as surplus to requirements ahead of his first full season in charge of Spurs.

The players in question? Davinson Sanchez, Emerson Royal, Sergio Reguilon, Harry Winks and Joe Rodon.

Both Lucas Moura and Matt Doherty could yet be granted exits, too, with speculation also continuing to point towards a potential return to his home country of the Netherlands for Steven Bergwijn.

Anfield test

Turning attentions back towards the pitch, Tottenham will of course be back in action this weekend.

The Lilywhites are set to make the trip to Anfield on Saturday night, for a daunting Premier League showdown with Jurgen Klopp's quadruple-chasing Liverpool.

The clash represents an absolutely crucial one when it comes to both the title race and battle for European football.

With just four games remaining in the English top-flight campaign, Spurs currently sit 5th, two points adrift of capital rivals Arsenal amid a tense race for the final top-four berth.

Should a Spurs defeat on Merseyside be followed by Arsenal getting the better of relegation-battling Leeds United on Sunday afternoon, Conte and co. would find themselves with a near-insurmountable mountain to climb, albeit with a highly-anticipated North London Derby on the cards later this month.
