Rafael Leao injury latest ahead of Champions League Milan Derby
A fresh insight into the wellbeing of AC Milan star Rafael Leao has come to the fore online on Sunday.
For those who may have missed it, wide-man Leao set pulses racing across the Milan fanbase a little over 24 hours ago.
This came upon the Portuguese international limping out of the Rossoneri’s crunch Serie A showdown with Lazio, with just ten minutes on the clock.
With Milan just four days out from the first-leg of their Champions League semi-final clash with fierce rivals Inter, concern surrounding Leao’s availability, in turn, spread like wildfire.
Speaking to the media on the back of his side’s crucial 2-0 victory on Saturday, Stefano Pioli, for one, was keen to quell fears, in assuring that Leao was suffering from little more than ‘fatigue’.

This comes amid claims on the part of the reliable Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Italia that Leao remains a major doubt for the clash.
The former Lille standout, it is understood, is dealing with a strain in his right thigh.
