Key details on Palace's 2025/26 Conference League campaign

Crystal Palace Conference League full results, squad and schedule 2025/26

Crystal Palace won the 2025/26 Conference League as England’s sole representatives in the competition, beating Spanish side Rayo Vallecano in the final.

The Premier League side beat former European champions Manchester City in the 2024/25 FA Cup final to ensure they would play continental football for the first time.

After missing out on Europa League qualification because of a UEFA ruling over ownership rules upheld by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, manager Oliver Glasner – a 2021/22 Europa League with former club Eintracht Frankfurt – guided the Eagles to another trophy in the Austrian’s final season in charge.

The top eight sides in the table qualify automatically for the round of 16. The teams finishing in ninth to 24th will compete in a two-legged knockout phase play-off to reach the last 16.

Teams finishing 25th or lower are out of Europe for the season.

Which English clubs were in the Conference League 2025/26?

Palace were the only English competitors in this season’s Conference League, following in the footsteps of Tottenham, West Ham, Aston Villa and Chelsea in the previous four campaigns.

The Hammers won the second edition of the competition in 2022/23 and the Blues triumphed in 2024/25.

When was the Conference League final?

The final took place on May 27 2026 at the Leipzig Stadium home of Bundesliga club Leipzig, where Jean-Philippe Mateta scored the only goal of the decider in the 50th minute.
