Pep Guardiola sends message to Arsenal ahead of Nottingham Forest clash

Pep Guardiola has been discussing Arsenal’s match with Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal take on Nottingham Forest in Saturday’s late Premier League kick-off.

After Arsenal drew three games in a row, lost to Manchester City and then lost to Brighton, the Gunners have gifted Man City a clear shot at a 5th league title in six seasons since Pep Guardiola joined the club.

Arsenal are four points behind the Sky Blues with just two games left to play. As a result, if Arsenal lose to Nottingham Forest, Manchester City will be crowned champions before their match with Chelsea at the Etihad on Sunday afternoon.

However, Pep Guardiola is seemingly looking for Arsenal to beat Forest so that Man City can win the title themselves at their own ground and celebrate with their fans.

Asked if he will be watching the Arsenal match, the City boss revealed that he wants his players to get the opportunity to complete the job themselves in front of their home fans at the Etihad:

“I don’t think so, we have a game the day after,” Guardiola said.
