Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has, on Friday, responded to questions regarding the potential return of Arsene Wenger to the club.
French tactician Wenger, of course, called time on his iconic spell in north London back in the summer of 2018.
After a full 22 years, and one of the most memorable managerial reigns in the history of English football, the face of Arsenal Football Club was relieved of his duties, amid mounting unrest across the Gunners’ supporter base.
Wenger, in turn, has opted to keep his distance from the dugout, instead taking up a role as a pundit with a number of sports outlets.

And yet, if the latest comments on the part of Mikel Arteta are anything to go by, then it appears that the Arsenal chapter of the Frenchman’s career may not have come to a definitive close just yet.
This comes with the powers that be at the Emirates actively pushing to bring the 72-year-old back to the club.
And the Spaniard went on to explain that:
