Man United & Aston Villa’s John McGinn

McGinn’s potential move to Man United has been revealed by journalist Alan Nixon.

Aston Villa & John McGinn’s contract
If the Man United rumours are to be believed, then Aston Villa appear to be in a strong position.
McGinn is under contract at Villa Park until 2022.
24-year-old John McGinn joined Aston Villa from Hibernian in August 2018.
Last season, McGinn played 48 matches in all competitions, including 40 times for Aston Villa in the Championship.
In the league, McGinn scored seven goals and chipped in with 10 assists for Villa as they won promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs.

Why Hibs will want McGinn to join Man United
If Man United were to sign McGinn for £50 million, then Hibs would be entitled to a share of that transfer fee. As reported in the Scotsman on Sunday:
Hibs could be set to receive a massive windfall from the sale of John McGinn to Manchester United, according to The Sun.
Without stating a precise figure, it is thought that Hibs could receive a seven-figure sum, as they included a sell-on clause in their deal with Aston Villa.
