Premier League giants Liverpool have identified another member of the midfield core at Juventus as a potential addition following the turn of the year, according to reports.
The player in question? Weston McKennie.
It has of course long been common knowledge that the powers that be at Anfield are on the lookout for reinforcements in the middle of the park.
Owing to a combination of injury concerns and simple loss of form on the part of the Redsβ current crop of midfield options, the addition of fresh blood has emerged as something of a priority for Jurgen Klopp and co.

And McKennie, fresh off a fine World Cup campaign with the United States, is one such midfielder understood to have been identified as a potential reinforcement by the Liverpool hierarchy.
As per a report from the Daily Mail, the Merseysiders are considering tabling a loan offer for the 24-year-old following the turn of the year.
Should such a move ultimately come to fruition, then McKennie would of course join another Juventus star on the books at Anfield, after Arthur Melo too linked up with Jurgen Kloppβs side during the summer transfer window.
