Dani Ceballos has told Real Madrid he wants to sign for Liverpool this summer after a failed moved there in January, according to Spanish source El Chiringuito TV.
Los Blancos are understood to have told the 21-year-old midfielder that he was not allowed to leave the club last month.
The player reportedly remains keen on joining the Reds, having being denied a move there in January, and is targeting a move to Meyerside in the summer.
“Something’s going on”

The tweet translates to: “Ceballos wanted to go to Liverpool in winter and the club wouldn’t let him. Something is going on there.”
Liverpool are keeping track of Ceballos, a player they see as a potential replacement for the departing Emre Can in the summer.
Since his arrival from Real Betis in the summer, the player has struggled for game time at the Bernabeu this season making just seven appearances in La Liga so far.
The central midfielder is seen around Europe as one of the most promising young talents, hence why he was snapped up by Real Madrid last summer.
However, the player is unhappy with the amount of game time he is receiving from manager Zinedine Zidane, having made just five starts all season across all competitions.
Both Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are also interested on signing the player and are keeping tabs on developments over his future in Madrid, according to Diario Gol.
