Liverpool face a trip to Everton in Saturday’s early Premier League kick-off this week.
Ahead of the tie, Klopp discussed a number of topics in his press conference, including team news.
Diogo Jota looks set to return to action vs Everton: “Diogo will probably be in as well (tomorrow). He trained yesterday for the first time and will today.”
But Jordan Henderson will not be available: “Nothing yet, we are waiting on the result. We haven’t had it yet. He’s definitely out (tomorrow) but don’t know the extent.”
Liverpool will also be without deadline day signing, Arthur Melo: “I’m really happy about his transfer. My information is it won’t happen until tomorrow, international clearance.”
Everton vs Liverpool
After a slow start, Liverpool have begun to bounce back from their dismal start to the season, which saw them draw two and lose one.
Liverpool now face a much easier test this week vs bitter rivals, Everton, who have beaten Klopp and co. just once since 2010.
Everton are currently 17th in the Premier League and are one of just three teams yet to pick up a single win this term.
