The latest social media activity on the part of Arsenal star Gabriel Magalhaes has piqued widespread attentions on Sunday evening.
This comes after the Brazilian opted to aim something of a jibe in the direction of ex-Gunners striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
For those not aware, Aubameyang grabbed the headlines online earlier this week, owing to a promo cut for Arsenal’s clash with Chelsea.
Ahead of his first meeting with Mikel Arteta’s troops since departing for Spain and subsequently returning to England in the summer, the Gabonese starred in a pre-match advertisement for BT Sport.
The footage saw Aubameyang tasked with the following line, which quickly sparked widespread debate across the fanbase of his former club:
“Arsenal… it’s nothing personal. I’m back. I’m blue. I’m ready. Let’s go!”
Look out for this one on your TV screens 📺 the @Jammz version of IALT is the soundtrack for the @ChelseaFC v @Arsenal match this weekend on @btsport 🤯

One member of Arsenal’s ranks who could not help but rub further salt in the wounds of Aubameyang, though, comes in the form of the aforementioned Gabriel.
After proving match-winner in netting the only goal of the game in west London on Sunday, stopper Gabriel quickly took to his social media platforms, to celebrate the result.
Also included, though, was a less-than-subtle dig at his former teammate, as showcased in the tweet below:
NOTHING PERSONAL .. LONDON IS RED ❤️
