Former Liverpool star takes aim at 'lazy' Paul Pogba during Leicester clash


 

One-time Liverpool defender Jose Enrique has taken to social media on Saturday evening, to aim something of a dig at Manchester United star Paul Pogba.

Pogba, of course, is currently locked in action, afforded his latest start in the middle of the park for United's post-international break return to action versus Leicester City.

The Frenchman, however, has thus far struggled to make a telling impact on proceedings, up against the visitors' combative midfield ranks.

In turn, as alluded to above, one individual who has been quick to reveal his frustrations with Pogba's efforts on Saturday comes in the form of Jose Emrique.

Taking to his personal Twitter account, the former Liverpool and Newcastle star has taken aim at United's midfield creator, labelling him a 'very lazy player':

Fred cancels out Maddison

Turning attentions towards the action itself at Old Trafford, the clash, as things stand, sits on something of a knife-edge.

It was visitors Leicester who opened the scoring just beyond the hour mark, when James Maddison's devilish delivery from the left was nodded home by the arriving Kelechi Iheanacho:

The Foxes' advantage, though, lasted just three minutes, as Kasper Schmeichel only managed to parry Bruno Fernandes' effort as far as Fred, who made no mistake in directing his ensuing effort into the roof of the net:
