The Gunners have a handful of difficult fixtures included in their run-in to a possible Premier League title come the end of the season, beginning against a misfiring yet still dangerous Liverpool side that can still influence matters at the top of the table

Arsenal Team News

  • Out: William Saliba, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Eddie Nketiah, Mohamed Elneny
  • Doubt: N/A

Mikel Arteta and Premier League leaders Arsenal remain on the march toward the club’s first league title in nearly 20 years during what has been an unexpected title charge in north London which has bore witness to scintillating football under the Spaniard capable of standing toe-to-toe with the hegemon that is Manchester City.

A difficult task awaits Arsenal on Sunday when they travel to Merseyside to clash with Liverpool, who despite their frustrations this season, remains a credible threat. Arteta, unfortunately, is still unable to count on defensive pair William Saliba and Takehiro Tomiyasu through injury, and much the same can be said for depth midfielder Mohamed Elneny. Eddie Nketiah is also out but could be back in the rotation soon to take up his normal post as a key backup forward.
