‘A joy to watch’ – Arsenal fans single one player out for special praise during Zurich clash

Supporters of Premier League giants Arsenal have flooded to social media on Thursday night, to reveal their excitement with the talents showcased by of one of the club’s summer recruits, during their latest outing.

Mikel Arteta’s troops, of course, are currently locked in action.

On the back of a strong start to their domestic campaign, the Gunners have kicked their European endeavours for 2022/23 into gear courtesy of a Europa League group stage showdown with FC Zurich.

As things stand in Switzerland, though, the evening’s visitors are being put to the test in a major way by their underdog hosts.

Despite taking the lead early on through debutant Marquinhos, Arteta and co. have headed in at the interval locked at 1-1.

This comes after Eddie Nketiah, who teed up Arsenal’s opener, was adjudged to have been guilty of a foul in the Zurich penalty area, setting the stage for Mirlind Kryeziu to level things up from 12 yards.

And one such plus point comes in the form of the display put forth by midfielder Fabio Vieira.

Portuguese talent Vieira, of course, opted to take his talents to north London over the summer, in a big-money move from FC Porto.

And, after just 45 minutes in the club’s colours, Gunners supporters already appear to have their minds made up.

Labelled a ‘baller’, ‘special’ and ‘a joy to watch’, Vieira has been widely lavished in praise across social media, with just some of the half-time highlights showcased below:
