Manchester United back in action already?

This is the third of four matches the Red Devils’ will face in the space of a week due to their European commitments and the postponement of their match against Liverpool.

On Sunday, Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s side won 3-1 at Villa Park despite being behind at half time.

Bruno Fernandes equalising from the penalty spot before Mason Greenwood and then Edinson Cavani won it.

This means they’ve now come from behind to win ten Premier League matches this season, a new record.

Manchester United are unbeaten in 14 league games so remain second and have qualified for next season’s Champions League.

They could also end the campaign with some major silverware when they face Villarreal in the UEFA Europa League Final in Gdańsk in 15 days.

Given that they’re playing Liverpool in 48 hours time, this is likely to be a heavily rotated side so how will the fringe player fare?

Leicester City meanwhile are desperate to join Manchester United in the Champions League.

However, the Foxes’ continued to wobble in a big way, losing 4-2 at home to Newcastle on Friday night.

They were actually 4-0 down at one points with late goals from Marc Albrighton and Kelechi Ịheanachọ unable to spark a miraculous comeback.

So, Brendan Rodgers’ men have dropped down to fourth, five points above West Ham and six clear of Liverpool.

After this, Leicester play Chelsea in the FA Cup Final on Saturday, Chelsea away in the league next Wednesday and then Spurs at home on the final day.

This game commences a hellish run of fixtures so they’ll be desperate to get back to winning ways.

Will Leicester City win at Old Trafford for the first time since 1998 when Tony Cottee was the only scorer?

Prediction: Manchester United 1-1 Leicester City

Manchester United are unbeaten in 12 Premier League matches against Leicester since that famous 5-3 defeat at the King Power in September 2014.

They did though also lost at the KP Stadium in the FA Cup quarter-finals in March.

Leicester have scored in 19 of their 23 away matches in all competitions this season.
