Romelu Lukaku “will do everything” to ensure Antonio Conte stays at Napoli following their Scudetto-winning season.
A 2-0 win over Cagliari last Friday saw Napoli clinch the Serie A title in Conte’s first season in charge.
But there are reports of a possible return to Juventus for Conte, the Bianconeri having secured Champions League football under the stewardship of Igor Tudor following the departure of Thiago Motta.
Conte is said to be set for a meeting with Napoli hierarchy to decide his future on Tuesday.
Speaking during their championship parade on Monday, Lukaku revealed he had told Conte to stay.
The former Chelsea and Manchester United striker previously won Serie A with Conte at Inter in 2021 and compared his coach’s influence on him to that of legendary basketball coach Phil Jackson on Shaquille O’Neal during their time together with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Recalling his decision to join Conte at Napoli in the previous summer transfer window, Lukaku told Rai: “The call lasted 15 seconds. As soon as I saw his [Conte’s] number, I immediately understood and got ready.
“Heβs my Phil Jackson and Iβm his Shaquille OβNeal.
βI want to enjoy this moment. I have a three-year contract and I will do everything to keep him here.
“I always talk to him, I told him to stay.β
