The Premier League will stage seven matches on Boxing Day in 2026 after confirming its Christmas and New Year schedule.
Four games will kick off at 15:00 GMT on Saturday, December 26, with further fixtures taking place at 12:30, 17:30 and 20:00.
The festive programme is considerably larger than last year, when just one Premier League match was played on Boxing Day.
Seven Premier League games on Boxing Day
Aston Villa will begin the day’s action against Leeds at 12:30 before Everton face Sunderland, Fulham host Brighton, Ipswich welcome Brentford and Tottenham take on Bournemouth in the 15:00 fixtures.
Liverpool will then travel to Hull for the 17:30 game before Newcastle host Manchester City at 20:00.
Three more matches will be played on Sunday, December 27, including Manchester United against Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace versus Arsenal.
The Premier League has also confirmed that Leeds will host Everton at 20:00 on New Year’s Day, with the remainder of that round taking place across January 2 and 3.
Festive schedule designed to ease congestion
There will be evening fixtures on December 29 and 30, followed by another round of games between January 5 and 7.
The Premier League has guaranteed clubs at least 60 hours between matches during the festive period.
The measure is intended to address concerns over fixture congestion following the expansion of European club competitions and the international calendar.
