Michael Carrick will start his first season in permanent charge of Manchester United in August.

And he will be optimistic of a strong Premier League opening after United were handed games against newly promoted teams in their first two fixtures.

2026/27 Premier League TV deals

Sky Sports and TNT Sports will share the live broadcasting rights to show the Premier League in the UK until 2028/29.

BBC Sport also has highlights rights, including Match of the Day, and audio rights, which it shares with talkSPORT.
