Arsenal had David Raya to thank for not falling behind in the first half of a game with Newcastle United that could see them clinch second place in the Premier League.
The Gunners will seal the runners-up spot behind Liverpool with a win, but defeat would see Newcastle leapfrog Arsenal into second with a game to go and see the Magpies effectively seal Champions League qualification.
Defeat looked the more likely prospect during an entertaining first half at Emirates Stadium, but Raya ensured Arsenal went into the second half with the game still level at 0-0.
The Spaniard made five saves in the first half. Only twice this season has Raya made more in a single game, recording seven against Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League and nine in the 2-2 away draw with Manchester City back in September.
Raya denied Bruno Guimaraes with a double save and produced another to thwart Dan Burn and Sven Botman at a corner. The former Brentford goalkeeper also kept out efforts from Tino Livramento and Harvey Barnes.
Arsenal have lost three games to Newcastle in all competitions this season. If they end that run in this game, Raya will be a strong contender for man of the match.
