The first El Clasico of the 2024-25 campaign is finally here as Real Madrid welcome Barcelona in LaLiga.

Hansi Flick’s side currently sit at the top of the table and will be desperate to put some distance between themselves and their arch-rivals.

But a win for Los Blancos would see Madrid tie the record for the longest unbeaten streak in the competition’s history.

They currently sit on 42 without a loss and a result against Barca would level the two sides with 43 apiece.

Read on to see how both teams line up for this huge clash in Spain.

Real Madrid line-up

Madrid picked up a few injuries during their Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund in midweek so have had to tweak their line-up.

Andriy Lunin comes in to replace the absent Thibaut Courtois, while Ferland Mendy, Antonio Rudiger, Eder Militao and Lucas Vasquez make up the defence.

Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde form a midfield three for Los Blancos.

Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham will operate in the No.10 role to provide some creativity.

And Vinicius Junior alongside Kylian Mbappe will lead the line.

Barcelona line-up

Barca welcomed Gavi back last weekend after nearly a year out through injury.

He does not start this one, but there is a call-up for Inaki Pena in goal, alongside Alex Balde, Inigo Martinez, Pau Cubarsi and Jules Kounde at the back.

Marc Casado lines up alongside Spaniard Pedri in midfield.

Raphinha is back on the wing having scored a hat-trick against Bayern Munich in midweek, while Lamine Yamal is also in.

And Fermin Lopez will sit behind Robert Lewandowski in attack.
