Barcelona have signed Raphinha to a one-year contract extension.
The Brazil forward is now contracted to the LaLiga champions until the end of June 2028.
Barca announced his new contract on Wednesday, four days before a season in which Raphinha has been instrumental to their success comes to an end.
Raphinha was named as one of Barca’s captains for the 2024-25 campaign following the arrival of Hansi Flick as head coach, the former Leeds United man receiving that honour despite a disappointing 2023-24 season.

That decision was vindicated as Raphinha inspired Barca to a double of major trophies, winning both LaLiga and the Copa del Rey.
Barca also won the Supercopa de España, while only an injury time loss to Inter Milan at San Siro stopped them from reaching next week’s Champions League final.
Raphinha has scored 34 goals and 22 assists in all competitions this season, with many viewing him as a contender to win the Ballon d’Or.
He and Barca will look to round off the season in style when they visit San Mames to face Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.
