Nottingham Forest v Manchester City – FA Cup semi-final match preview

Nottingham Forest will be hoping to reach their first FA Cup final in 34 years when they take on Manchester City at Wembley on Sunday.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have had a brilliant season and are in the hunt for a top-five finish but would love the chance of silverware.

The legendary Brian Clough never delivered the FA Cup to the City Ground but was in charge on their last final visit in 1991, when a Des Walker own goal in extra time gave Tottenham the victory.

City have won the trophy seven times and are looking for a third straight final. Pep Guardiola has lifted the trophy twice.

City are without striker Erling Haaland – whose dad played for Forest – with an ankle injury and midfielder Rodri remains out with his knee injury.

Goalkeeper Ederson and defenders John Stones and Nathan Ake are also still missing.
