The Ivorian’s hat-trick rescued Ruben Amorim from more criticism after another largely uninspiring display against the Premier League’s bottom side.

Brighton will present a more challenging task for United and will arrive at Old Trafford on the back of a five-game unbeaten league run.

They won in midweek, beating Ipswich 2-0 at Portman Road.
