Coventry v Brighton: Confirmed line-ups and team news as Sky Blues go in search of first win

Coventry will look to record their first Premier League win since promotion when they host Brighton this afternoon.

It has been a difficult start for the Sky Blues with defeats at Arsenal and Manchester City either side of a disappointing home defeat by fellow new-boys Hull.

Brighton started with a bang, thrashing Aston Villa 4-0 on the opening weekend, but have failed to hit those heights since, losing at Chelsea and drawing with Leeds.

Seagulls boss Fabian Hurzeler said: “[Coventry are] A tough opponent. They played really well against Manchester City and created a lot of chances. They look compact and didn’t give away many chances. They are having a good process. We have to focus on us to play for 90 minutes with a lot of energy and intensity.”

Coventry substitutes: Bentley, Sakamoto, Yirenkyi, Mfuni, Tchaouna, Thomas-Asante, Torp, Hamer, Cherif

BRIGHTON TEAM NEWS

Hurzeler named the same team that drew with Leeds. Forward Georginio Rutter remains sidelined while new signing Femi Azeez has a minor hamstring problem.
