Raphinha drives Barcelona into early Champions League lead

Barcelona took just three minutes to fly into the lead of their Champions League opener at home to Dutch side Feyenoord.

Hansi Flick’s side have won all four games in La Liga so far and wasted no time in firing ahead in the driving rain at the still-to-be completed Nou Camp.

Raphinha took just three minutes to score his seventh goal of the season already. The Brazilian masterfully sidestepped two defenders inside the penalty area and lashed home after a touch inside from Lamine Yamal.

Dani Olmo then rifled in a shot on target as the Spanish side started brilliantly.

Much of the speculation through the summer surrounded Barca’s failure to recruit a number nine but Raphinha has wasted no time in making that shirt his own.

And it was soon 2-0.

Karim Adeyemi, in for England winger Anthony Gordon, was allowed to come inside from wide on the left and arrowed in a curler from 20 yards.
