Barcelona vs Valencia: LaLiga Lineups, team news, confirmed starting teams as Rashford starts
Full team news for Barcelona vs Valencia
Barcelona play their first LaLiga home game of the season on Sunday against Valencia at the Estadi Johan Cruyff while refurbishment work to the Camp Nou is being completed.
Barca are on seven points after failing to win for the first time in 2025/26 with a 1-1 draw at Rayo Vallecano on August 31.
Victory would move Valencia level with their opponents after Carlos Corberan’s side won for the first time with a 3-0 triumph at home to Getafe two days earlier.

Barcelona lineup vs Valencia
Barca have issues in midfield, with Frenkie de Jong (thigh) and Gavi (knee) both unavailable.
Full-back Alejandro Balde also miss out, while winger Lamine Yamal is absent with a pubis problem.
Manager Hansi Flick’s selection appears to have an eye on Thursday’s Champions League opener at Newcastle, with winger Roony Bardghji making his full debut and the likes of forwards Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha on the bench.
The reigning champions have been far from convincing so far in the league, starting with a 3-0 win away to nine-man Mallorca before recovering from 2-0 behind to win 3-2 at Levante.
However, after losing this same fixture 7-1 last season, Valencia will know they face an uphill task even in a much less intimidating arena than Camp Nou or the Olympic Stadium.
Barcelona starting XI: Joan Garcia, Jules Kounde, Eric Garcia, Pau Cubarsi, Gerard Martin, Marc Casado, Pedri, Roony Bardghji, Fermin Lopez, Marcus Rashford; Ferran Torres
Barcelona substitutes: Wojciech Szczesny, Ronald Araujo, Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Dani Olmo, Marc Bernal, Andreas Christensen, Diego Kochen, Jofre Torrents, Toni Fernandez
