St. Johnstone 0 – Rangers 4 (SPL, May 13, 2012) Lee McCulloch’s superb strike put the visitors ahead. Sone Aluko fired Rangers’ second 11 minutes after the break and tapped home the third from Alejandro Bedoya’s pass. Aluko completed his hat-trick with a powerful shot and Saints now require Hearts to win the Scottish Cup in order to qualify for the Europa League.

Rangers 5 – Dundee United 0 (SPL, May 2, 2012) Steven Whittaker curled in a low drive after six minutes, Sone Aluko powered past static defenders to fire home twice within 180 seconds to make it 3-0 on 20 minutes, and Jamie Ness on 57 minutes and Alejandro Bedoya in 84 added clinical finishes.

Celtic 3 – Rangers 0 (SPL, April 29, 2012) A free header at the back post from Charles Mulgrew from a corner put Celtic in front. Kris Commons burst through for Celtic’s second on the half hour. Nine minutes after half-time Gary Hooper lashed in the third.

Dundee United 2 – Hearts 2 (SPL, April 28, 2012)Â United took the lead in the 32nd minute when midfielder Willo Flood fired in a powerful 35-yard drive but three minutes later the visitors were level through a Rudi Skacel header. In the 65th minute Gary Mackay-Steven regained the lead for United but a glorious late strike by substitute Arvydas Novikovas gave Hearts a share of the spoils.

Motherwell 0 – Celtic 3 (SPL, April 22, 2012) Debutant Tony Watt came off the bench and scored two quick goals on 63 and 66 to set Celtic on their way. Cha Du-Ri added a third with 7 minutes to go.

Hearts 0 – Rangers 3 (SPL, April 21, 2012)Â Sone Aluko’s superbly struck free-kick gave Rangers the lead on 29 minutes. Andy Little was credited with the visitors’ second six minutes later, although Hearts’ Andy Webster appeared to get the final touch. Craig Beattie’s penalty for Hearts cannoned off the bar before Little tapped home a late third for Rangers.

Celtic 1 – Hearts 2 (Scottish Cup semi-final, April 15, 2012) Hearts led from the 47th minute thanks to a goal from Rudi Skacel. After intense pressure Garry Hooper equalised on 87 only for Craig Beattie to win it in injury time from the penalty spot.

Hibernian 1 – Motherwell 1 (SPL, April 8, 2012) Hibs made a big stride way from the relegation zone, with Garry O’Connor’s free-kick into the top corner on the half hour. Nine minnutes from time Motherwell levelled as the ball broke to Nicky Law hovering just outside the box and he chested it down before volleying past Graham Stack.
