Chelsea have reached a verbal agreement with Graham Potter to become the club’s new manager.

The west London club took the decision to sack Thomas Tuchel yesterday and their search for his replacement is already well advanced.

Now, Potter is set to be the next manager at Stamford Bridge and his team of backroom staff are already taking shake.

Three key members of Potter’s backroom staff revealed

Graham Potter is hoping to take three key members of his backroom staff at Brighton with him to west London.

The 47-year-old has worked with the trio in all of his last three jobs.

They have all been part of his staff at Östersunds FK, Swansea City and Brighton and Hove Albion.

According to TalkSport, Potter is hoping to appoint:

Billy Reid (Assistant manager)

Björn Hamberg (Assistant manager)

Kyle Macaulay (Recruitment analyst)

Macaulay is expected to be a key appointment in terms of transfers.

Potter prefers to focus on coaching and allow Macaulay to discuss targets with the club, as per the Evening Standard.

Reid and Hamberg have been Potter’s trusted assistants since his first job in Sweden.

The pair have both previously been head coaches themselves at Hamilton Academical and Frösö IF respectively.
