Inter have won their both meetings with Juve in 2022, claiming the Supercoppa in January before a 1-0 Serie A win last month. The only time Inter have ever won three successive Derby d’Italias was in 1927. Juve have won both Coppa Italia Finals against Inter, doing so in 1959 and 1965.

Dušan Vlahović is the joint-top scorer in this season’s Coppa Italia with three. He is 5/1 to break the deadlock and 7/4 to add to this tally.

Lautaro Martínez is 4/1 to open the scoring and 13/10 to add to his three career goals against Juve in 90 minutes.

Juventus vs Internazionale betting tips: Coppa Italia Final preview, predictions and odds

It’s time for the Coppa Italia and, for the first time in 57 years, the final has thrown up a Derby d’Italia.

Juventus won a record-breaking nine consecutive Scudettos, before their streak was finally broken by Inter last season.

Here, as two Northern powerhouses converge on Rome, who will be celebrating the addition of more silverware to their respective bulging cabinets?

Juventus are the record 14-times winners of this competition, reaching seven of the last eight finals.

La Vecchia Signora lifted the Coppa in four successive seasons, between 2015 and 2018, lost to Napoli in 2020, before beating Atalanta 12 months later.

To get to this final, Juve overcame Sampdoria and Sassuolo at home before swatting aside Fiorentina 3-0 on aggregate in the semi-finals.

So, Massimiliano Allegri is looking to win his fifth Coppa as a manager, which would set a new record.

He’s currently joint-first in this regard alongside Roberto Mancini, both of whom boast four managerial Coppa triumphs.

However, in the league, Allgeri’s return hasn’t had the desired effect.

Friday night’s last-gasp defeat to Genoa means Juventus remain fourth, unable to finish lower and unlikely to finish higher.

Nevertheless, ending the season with some silverware would provide some tangible success at the end of a mixed campaign.

Internazionale Milano meanwhile could still win a domestic treble having beaten Juventus in the Supercoppa in January.

Alexis Sánchez won the trophy that night in the most dramatic fashion possible, popping up with a winner in added time of extra time.

In Serie A, with two games to go, Simone Inzaghi’s side are two points behind rivals A.C. Milan, following a costly 2-1 defeat at Bologna last month.

But, with the league-leaders still to face Atalanta and Sassuolo, all hope is not lost.

In this competition, I Nerazzurri saw off Empoli and then Roma before a memorable 3-0 Derby della Madonnina victory in the semi-finals.

So, this is Inter’s first appearance in the cup final since 2011 when a 3-1 victory over Palermo secured their seventh success.

This is certainly not an occasion to be missed, but will it be Juve or Inter who claim the Coppa Italia trophy at Stadio Olimpico?

Manuel Locatelli, Weston McKennie and Federico Chiesa are all currently injured long-term.

Without the first two, Juve are short of midfield options, meaning Denis Zakaria, Arthur and Adrien Rabiot are the likely trio.

Mattia Perin started the Supercoppa in January and has kept goal in all four Coppa Italia ties en route to this final.

Thus, it’ll be interesting to see if the understudy is given the nod again or if Wojciech Szczęsny is restored.

37 year old Giorgio Chiellini has won 19 major honours with Juventus and would love to make that a round 20 before departing this summer.

He and Matthijs de Ligt will return at centre-back for this one with Leonardo Bonucci and Daniele Rugani making way.

Dušan Vlahović scored three times in early rounds for Fiorentina, but is actually enduring a four-game goal draught just now.

Nevertheless, he, Álvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala, who could be on his way to Inter this summer, will lead the attack.

Alessandro Bastoni is out for Inter, meaning Stefan de Vrij and Milan Škriniar will be the key components in the back three.

Federico Dimarco completed the trio on Friday night, but Danilo D’Ambrosio could get the nod this time.

In goal, back-up goalkeeper Ionuț Radu was massively at fault as Inter suffered that costly loss to Bologna in Serie A a fortnight ago.

So, despite the fact he’s carrying an injury, club captain Samir Handanovič will be between the sticks.

Marcelo Brozović will anchor midfield with Nicolò Barella and Hakan Çalhanoğlu further forward.

Ivan Perišić is likely to keep his place at left-wing-back, chosen over the more conservative option that is Robin Gosens.

Lautaro Martínez’s strike-partner on Friday night was Joaquín Correa, and he could keep his place, chosen over Edin Džeko and Alexis Sánchez.

Alexis’ compatriot Arturo Vidal will face his former side in this final, looking to win major silverware for the 23rd time in his career.
