'You s**t yourself' - Jose Mourinho takes aim at journalist in Roma press conference

AS Roma boss Jose Mourinho stole the headlines as only he can this weekend, in revealing his frustrations with a member of the media in explicit fashion.

The exchange in question came during the Portuguese icon's latest press conference.

After being drawn on his use of a three-man defence, Mourinho opted to shift the focus, instead taking aim at the individual to have posed the question.

The former Chelsea and Manchester United boss, having evidently recognised the journalist, revealed his expectation that a 'much more violent' inquisition was set to come his way, in turn suggesting that the reporter 's**t his pants' when faced with Mourinho in person:

“I expected a much more violent question from you. I heard you on the radio yesterday, you were much more aggressive, much more critical, much more violent. I was not expecting such an easy question.

“The conclusion I therefore reach is that you are super aggressive and super violent on the radio, then you come here and s**t your pants in front of me.”

Samp test

Mourinho's latest comments come ahead of Roma's post-international break return to action later today.

The Giallorossi are set to kick their Serie A campaign back into gear in a meeting with relegation-battling Sampdoria at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

The matchup marks a crucial one amid the ongoing efforts of Mourinho and co. to clinch a Europa League berth for the 2022/23 campaign, having been leapfrogged by capital rivals Lazio into 5th owing to the latter's downing of Sassuolo on Saturday.
