Poland v Argentina - 30th 19:00

Over 7.5 Match Corners

Over 2.5 Match Cards

The two favourites for qualification out of Group C meet here in Argentina and Poland with Poland sat top of the group and Argentina 2nd after 2 games. All is still to play for as mathematically, all 4 sides in this group can still qualify. Argentina on the back of a 2-0 win over Mexico, and Poland on the back of a 2-0 win against Saudi Arabia.

With so much to play for and Argentina knowing that a draw may not be enough to qualify, we expect an end-to-end game with plenty of big tackles and cynical fouls to prevent counter attacks. A draw is enough for Poland to seal qualification. Already a very defensive side we expect most of the game will be played in their half which should lead to plenty of corners and cards.

There is an 8.8 corners per game average between the 2 sides, and 3.09 cards. With so much still left to play for, we expect more cards than that and over 2.5 should land with ease. Argentina earn 4.9 corners per game on average, however with the need to attack here we expect that to be a lot higher. Poland may also waste time and run the ball into the corner often which can lead to corners.

Over 2.5 cards has landed in 74% of their games combined, and over 7 corners in 60% but for the reasons listed above, we feel that is great value here.

Australia v Denmark - 30th 15:00

Over 7.5 Match Corners

Under 3.5 Match Goals

Australia take on Denmark here in Group D with all 4 teams still vowing for a spot in the knockout rounds. Australia come into this game on the back of a 1-0 win over Tunisia much against the run of play. Denmark are on the back of a late 2-1 defeat to France in a game where they probably deserved at least a point.

Denmark will be the favourites to win here and should have the quality in their side to see this through and progress into the next round. Denmark have to push for the win as anything less will see them exit the World Cup. Australia will be aware that a point should be enough to see them through.

Denmark had 4 corners against France conceding 6, whilst they had 11 corners against Tunisia where they pushed for a win. We expect similar statistics this match where they will be favourites and have to push to win the game. Australia will not win many corners but conceded 11 against France in their opener. They may look to waste time though and put the ball into the corners where corners may rack up. The teams average 9.9 corners per game but we expect Denmark may win 8 corners on their own here.

The sides average 2 goals per game and over 3.5 match goals happen in just 15% of games involving the 2 sides. Australia know that a draw will be enough and may prove difficult to break down.
