Arsenal return to Premier League action on Saturday afternoon, facing off with Leeds United at the Emirates at 3 pm.
The Gunners headed into the weekend’s action with an eight-point lead atop of the Premier League.
However, Manchester City have a game in hand and were also in action earlier in the day vs Liverpool.
The Sky Blues won that match, meaning the gap between Arsenal and City is now just five points.
So, should Arsenal lose after City’s win, the gap will be much shorter than the north Londoners will have been hoping for heading into the end-of-season run-in, especially as Man City still have a game in hand and the two teams must face off once more later in the campaign.
And now, Arsenal are being forced to start their game vs Leeds without a key man. Bukayo Saka has been one of Arsenal’s standout stars in 2022/23, breaking several records and leading the charts in both goals and assists.
Saka unwell, didn’t train yesterday. https://t.co/Vsf9jxflOP
