Watford fans send message to board over Claudio Ranieri after Norwich embarrassment
The Watford faithful have taken to social media in their numbers this evening, to make their feelings with manager Claudio Ranieri crystal clear.
Ranieri of course led his troops back into action a short time ago.
Amid a dismal spell of recent form, the Hornets welcomed fellow relegation battlers Norwich City to Vicarage Road, aware that nothing but a return to winning ways would suffice.
When all was said and done, however, to say that Watford failed to get things back on track would be something of an understatement.
An alarming display, during which star striker Emmanuel Dennis was sent for an early bath owing to a pair of bookings, ultimately culminated in the hosts being put to the sword by three goals to nil.
Josh Sargent proved the star of the show, bagging a brace, with a Juraj Kucka own goal deep into injury-time having added yet further gloss to a remarkable final scoreline.

Ranieri out?
On the back of the full-time whistle bringing a close to another dark day in the recent history of the club, it should therefore come as little surprise to hear of the Watford faithful being up in arms post-match.
Droves have taken to social media, and though the club’s stars have not been spared, it is one man in particular who has come in for the brunt of the criticism.
The individual in question? Claudio Ranieri.
Owing to an 8th-straight winless outing in the Premier League, supporters of the Hornets have sent a crystal clear message to the club’s hierarchy, calling for their manager to be sacked with immediate effect:

Bye ranieri

Ranieri must leave now, he can’t defend or attack!!! His attacking style is give the ball to a winger and that it no planned movement at all 😫 even at the stop he wasn’t able to talk to his team to make them more focused 😕 and I must say Watford could need CDM , RB , CB and GK
