Footage of the latest goal notched by Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech has piqued widespread attentions online late on Thursday evening.

This comes after the 29-year-old found the net for his country in the most spectacular fashion imaginable.

Morocco – like so many of the nations in the final stage of their preparations for the Qatar World Cup – were back in action a short time ago.

In their final warming outing ahead of world football’s biggest international tournament kicking into gear, the Atlas Lions went head to head with European minnows Georgia.

When all was said and done, as expected, Walid Regragui’s troops, as expected, emerged comfortable victors, courtesy of a three-goal haul.

Youssef En-Nesyri and Sofiane Boufal were both amongst the goals at the Sharjah Stadium, but, as alluded to above, it was Morocco’s star man who truly stole the headlines.

After Georgia surrendered possession in needless fashion on the halfway line, Chelsea attacker Ziyech was afforded the chance to kick a Morocco attack into gear.

Lifting his head to spot Georgia no.1 Giorgi Mamardashvili off his line, though, Ziyech instead unleashed a sumptuous left-footed strike from comfortably inside his own half, which found its way beyond the clutches of the Valencia shot-stopper and in.
