‘Waste of space’ - Man United fans slam one player during Barcelona clash

Supporters of Premier League giants Manchester United have taken to social media in numbers on Thursday evening, to make their frustrations with one member of the club’s squad clear.

Erik ten Hag’s troops, of course, are currently locked in action.

Fresh off a morale-boosting three-point haul at the weekend, the Red Devils have turned their attentions towards matters on the continent, in a highly-anticipated Europa League showdown with La Liga table-toppers Barcelona.

As things stand at the Camp Nou, it is hosts Barca, altogether unsurprisingly, who have dominated when it comes to possession.

Amid an outing which has seen their side look largely 2nd best, in turn, as alluded to above, many of a Man United persuasion have therefore taken aim at one member of Ten Hag’s setup.

The player in question? Fred.

After the Brazilian needlessly surrendered possession on a number of occasions early on, fans of the Red Devils flooded to social media, with just some of the highlights showcased below:
