It has been an up-and-down journey for Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
The German had a slow start, but has since been able to guide Liverpool to their first-ever Premier League title and a 6th Champions League.
Last season also saw Liverpool win the FA Cup and League Cup, seeing off Chelsea in the final both times.
However, Liverpool are having a tough 2022/23, with their most recent outing a 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest.
Now, ahead of facing Ajax, Virgil van Dijk has revealed what Jurgen Klopp is like in the dressing room:
βOh yeah plenty of times,β Van Dijk told Gary Neville on The Overlap Xtra when asked if he had been shouted out by Klopp.
βThe thing is and what I like is that someone does that because someone really cares about you or the situation and wants to make sure it improves or get anyone else sharper. So I really enjoy that in a way and it helps me personally.
βI was trying to go more direct and he was shouting at me that we had to play a little bit more,β Van Dijk added.
βI know he was shouting from the side so I wasnβt looking at him or trying to acknowledge him because I knew for a fact that he was going to go after me. It is what it is.β
