Tottenham fans convinced 'Agent Sessegnon' is pushing Djed Spence to join club

The Tottenham Hotspur faithful have afforded defender Ryan Sessegnon a new nickname, owing to his latest interaction with known Lilywhites target Djed Spence.

Speculation surrounding the future of defender Spence has of course been rampant over the course of the last couple of weeks.

This comes with the 21-year-old, fresh off helping Nottingham Forest back to the top-flight of English football courtesy of the Championship playoffs, piquing the interest of a whole host of clubs.

Forest, for their part, are unsurprisingly keen to make Spence's arrival permanent, owing to his impressive exploits whilst on loan at the City Ground this past season.

It is the aforementioned Spurs, though, who have long positioned themselves at the front of the queue for the talented full-back's signature.

This comes with Antonio Conte understood to have identified the right side of his defence as being in need of reinforcement, and Spence viewed as a long-term solution.

Despite weeks of speculation, however, an imminent conclusion to the Spence saga does not appear to be in sight.

And, as alluded to above, this has, on Monday, seen a current member of the first-team ranks on the Lilywhite half of north London take action.

The player in question? Ryan Sessegnon.

As highlighted by a number of eagle-eyed Tottenham supporters, wing-back Sessegnon this evening took to the comments section of Spence's latest Instagram post, to unveil the following comment:

'You know what to do now...'

The Spurs faithful, understandably, have identified such activity on the part of their talented defender as an effort to push Spence towards joining the club, giving rise to the nickname 'Agent Sessegnon':
