An insight into the stance of soon-to-be former Juventus star Paulo Dybala when it comes to a potential summer move to Barcelona has been provided on Thursday.
The long-awaited bombshell news surrounding the future of Argentine international Dybala was of course first unveiled early last week.
On the back of a meeting between those in a position of power at the Juventus Stadium, and the representatives of the club’s long-time star attacker, the conclusion was reached that the best route forward would be for Dybala’s terms in Turin not to be renewed.
The 28-year-old, as a result, is in line to depart as a free agent upon the conclusion of the 2021/22 campaign.

So, just where could Dybala end up next?
As alluded to above, though, it is the stance of the Argentine when it comes to the prospect of linking up with another of European football’s biggest clubs which has been provided on Thursday.
The outfit in question? Barcelona.
The info comes courtesy of Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, who, speaking in an interview with Wettfreunde, first provided his take on why he feels Dybala may excel in La Liga:
“He should probably find a club and a competition where the pace of play isn’t as intense as in Serie A or the Premier League. La Liga could be perfect for him, with new emotions, new way of playing, more focus on technique. I don’t know if FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid or Valencia.”
And, from here, Di Marzio assured that the Juventus man ‘would like to’ play for Barcelona, albeit with any such move of course dependent on the plans of the Catalans themselves:
“I know Paulo would like to play in Barcelona because his brother lives there. But it depends on what Barcelona plan in attack. I don’t think Messi is coming back so Paulo could be the perfect number 10 for Barcelona.”
A move to Barcelona would appeal Paulo Dybala, reports @DiMarzio. But it all depends on whether Barcelona would be open to making a move for La Joya or not.https://t.co/adzWYKetTp

Blaugrana brimming
Should Dybala, in the end, take his talents to Barcelona, it would of course add yet further firepower to an already potent frontline currently plying its trade under the watch of Xavi Hernandez at the Camp Nou.
As things stand, battling it out for a spot in the Spaniard’s front-3 are all of Ferran Torres, Ousmane Dembele, Adama Traore, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ansu Fati, Martin Braithwaite, Memphis Depay and Luuk de Jong.
Not only that, but the Blaugrana are also understood to have set their sights firmly on Leeds United standout Raphinha, with speculation surrounding a potential big-money swoop for Erling Haaland too continuing to persist.
Barcelona are in well advanced talks with Deco for Raphinha as summer target since one month, but the official negotiation with Leeds won’t start now – it will take some time. 🇧🇷 #FCB
