Manchester United have opened talks with Paulo Dybala's agents, according to Sky Sport.

The Argentine is a free agent after leaving Juventus following the end of his contract.

Christain Eriksen is also expected to join the Red Devils on a free transfer.

Manchester United talking to Dybala

Manchester United appear to be making an attempt to hijack Inter Milan's move for Dybala.

The Italian club have been in talks with the forward for weeks but have been unable to finalise a deal.

Inter have also signed Romelu Lukaku which casts further doubt over Dybala's arrival at San Siro.

Now, the Red Devils have entered the frame and are talking to the player's agents.

Erik ten Hag could view the forward as a possible replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo who has asked to leave.

Dybala has been reluctant to leave Italy, but with a lack of options there now, United are seemingly trying to tempt him with a move to England.

Cristiano misses United training again

Meanwhile, United remain in the dark over Ronaldo's future.

The 37-year-old has expressed a desire to leave Old Trafford.

He has missed the last two training sessions and has now missed a third straight day.

United are unsure whether he will be joining them for their pre-season tour.
