Manchester City are planning for life after Savinho and Omar Marmoush by making a move for Palmeiras winger Allan Elias, according to The Athletic.
Both Savinho and Marmoush have been linked with a move to Tottenham before the window closes on September 1 and with uncertainty still surrounding the future of Jack Grealish, City could do with adding to their forward options.
Allan is predominantly a right-sided attacker but City could face a job to prise him out of the Serie A leaders, who insist he is not for sale. The player has yet to win a Brazil cap and has a release clause of £85million.
The 22-year-old has made 48 top-flight appearances for Palmeiras since making his debut in 2025, scoring six goals and adding five assists.
City continue to scour South America for talent
City have always maintained strong ties with the South American market, signing the likes of Gabriel Jesus and latterly Vitor Reis and Claudio Echeverri.
It has been a summer of churn at the Etihad with manager Pep Guardiola leaving and being replaced by Enzo Maresca, whose first competitive game in charge ended in a 3-0 hammering by Arsenal at the weekend.
Long-serving players such as Rodri, Bernardo Silva, Manuel Akanji, John Stones and Nathan Ake have all left, in addition to Tijjani Reijnders and James Trafford. In their place, have come Elliot Anderson, Jeremy Monga and Geronimo Rulli.
City open their Premier League campaign at home to Bournemouth on Sunday.
