Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has, on Saturday, aimed something of a dig at Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe.

Perez's comments of course come after Mbappe, on the back of a saga spanning several transfer windows, ultimately opted to reject the advances of Los Blancos, in favour of putting pen to paper on fresh terms in Paris last month.

Mbappe’s decision, whilst sparking unbridled joy amongst supporters of PSG, altogether understandably, did not go down quite so well with those of a Real Madrid persuasion.

The weeks since have seen the Frenchman labelled everything from a ‘traitor’ to a ‘snake’, amid the suggestion that Mbappe led the Spanish champions on something of a wild goose chase.

And, as alluded to above, on Saturday, none other than Florentino Perez opted to get in on the Mbappe pile-on.

During an exchange with a section of supporters, Real's president was urged by one young member of the Blancos faithful to never sanction a move for PSG's star man again.

And Perez made use of the opportunity to aim a subtle dig at Mbappe, assuring the fan that the Frenchman is likely already regretting his decision not to make the move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Fan: “Florentino, don't sign Mbappé anymore, okay!”

Perez: “Poor kid, he will already be sorry about it.”
