FC Porto reject Tottenham’s bid for Luis Diaz

Another update on Tottenham’s fast-moving interest in FC Porto winger Luis Diaz has emerged on Tuesday evening.
News emerged on Tuesday afternoon that Tottenham had sent an offer of €45m to Porto for Diaz.
The same report claimed that the north Londoners had given Porto 48 hours to respond.

The news of Spurs’ interest in Diaz would then be picked up shortly after in the English press.
Now though, a new update on the situation has emerged from journalist Gonçalo Lopes, writing for Record.
And, according to Gonçalo Lopes, Tottenham have already rejected Tottenham’s offer for Dias.
The report adds that Dias himself is aware he is in the sights of more competitive Premier League clubs that could give him other career prospects in the next few days:

Tottenham eyeing busy end to January
Attempts to sign Dias are not the only bit of business Spurs are aiming to get done this month, though.
According to the Telegraph, Antonio Conte wants a right wing-back, a midfielder and an attacker before the end of the month.
On the outings front, meanwhile, Spurs are looking to offload PSG target Tanguy Ndombele, Dele Alli, who Southampton have expressed an interest in, and Giovani Lo Celso.

Furthermore, there is said to be growing confidence that a deal to sign Adama Traore, who Conte plans to convert into a right wing-back, will be agreed with Wolves.
