Crystal Palace sign Diego Cavalieri
We may be out of the transfer window, but Crystal Palace have made an addition to their squad in the last few hours.
It was initially thought that Crystal Palace would sign Diego Cavalieri for the start of the 2018/2019 season, but that has been brought forward with worries about the Eagles keeper situation.
According to reports in Brazil, Cavalieri has signed a four-month deal at Crystal Palace. There is the possibility for the goalkeeper to extend his deal into next season.
Crystal Palace have not announced the Cavalieri signing, that is expected to be confirmed today.

The deal was confirmed by Danilo Cavalieri, brother of the veteran goalkeeper, and mediated by agents Ivan Jatobá and Marcos Leite of LM03 Sports.
Cavalieri signed an agreement to rescind his contract with Fluminense and became a free agent. Therefore, the goalkeeper could sign for another club, even with the transfer window closed.
The 35-year-old goalkeeper knows English football from his three years at Liverpool, between 2008 and 2010.
