Chelsea have finalised the signing of midfielder Dario Essugo from Sporting Lisbon in time to play in the Club World Cup – in a deal worth a reported Β£18m.
The deal to take Essugo to Stamford Bridge was agreed in March.
The 20-year-old spent last season on loan with Las Palmas, making 27 appearances for the club who were relegated from La Liga.
He is available to play for Chelsea in this summer’s tournament in the US – with Chelsea facing Los Angeles FC in their opening game on 16 June.

Chelsea announced the signing of Essugo’s former Sporting team-mate Geovany Quenda in March, although the 17-year-old will not link up with the squad until next year.
