Barcelona appear to have found a magical pot of money as they close in on another summer signing.

La Blaugrana have been in financial peril for some time, hence why they could not renew Lionel Messi’s contract last year.

However, that has not stopped them splashing the cash so far this summer.

Barcelona have signed both Andreas Christensen and Frankie Kessie to big contracts. This was followed by the club agreeing a transfer fee of up to €67m with Leeds United for Raphinha and then signing Ousmane Dembele, whose previous Barca deal ran out in June, to a fresh contract until 2024.

Barcelona are seemingly not stopping there, though. Reports earlier on Friday claimed that Barcelona have an agreement with Manchester City for less than €80m for Bernardo Silva.

Now, as per David Ornstein, Barcelona are advancing towards an agreement with Bayern Munich for Robert Lewandowski.

It is added that a deal is not yet agreed yet but there is optimism around the situation that the move will happen.

Personal terms have already been agreed with the striker, with Barcelona tabling a €40m transfer offer for the Poland international.
